To
make her monography more accurate, Cristina ventured into the shacks
and headquarters of many samba schools and ended up joining Portela's
parade. The monography was laid aside and Cristina became founder
and president of an ala (a parade unit) in Tradição
Samba School. She got married on top of a float with economist Wellington
Fritsch.
Her full realization as a journalist took place only in 2000, when
Cristina became editor of the

Parintins Cultura Folclore, published by Amazon Comunicação
Total, an enterprise under her direction too.
The Parintins Folk Festival became another passion in Cristina's
life, who, besides editing the magazine, is going to open on that
enchanted island a 22,000 m² resort.

takes place on 28, 29, and 30 June.

Carnival
has been marking the life of former air-stewardess and journalist Teresa
Cristina Córdova Guimarães Fritsch. She has a 28-year experience
in the tourist market. Her interest in this popular festival and great
love for her city, Rio de Janeiro, arose when Cristina chose this theme
for her post-graduation studies in Journalism.
